About Velocity

Overview

For commercial establishments that operate in the e-commerce market and occasionally receive fraudulent transactions, Velocity is a product that will identify suspicious behaviors of fraud. Velocity is an ally in the evaluation of suspicious purchasing behaviors, as the calculations will be based on variables.

The API is based on REST architecture, which exchanges data in JSON format following authorization flows defined by the OAuth 2 protocol, where all standards are widely used by the market and supported by technical communities.

Objectives

• Helps detect suspected fraud;
• Helps block burst attacks (card tests, for example), as well as assessments of suspicious purchasing behavior;
• Calculations are based on analysis of the speed of variables and their incidence in certain time intervals.
