Transaction with Renova Fácil

Renova Fácil is a service developed by Cielo in partnership with card issuers. Its goal is to increase the conversion rate of recurring credit and debit card sales.

By identifying expired cards at the time of the transaction, the authorization is processed with a new card, which is then returned for storage.

Participating issuers: Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Santander, Panamericano, Citibank.

To use Renova Fácil, the service must be enabled at Cielo. There is no need to send any extra information in the authorization request. However, the response will include the NewCard node for both credit and debit transactions.

To simulate the return of the "NewCard" node in Sandbox, use a card ending in 3 and an expired "ExpirationDate".

Response for Cartão Protegido and Renova Fácil Clients

For Cartão Protegido and Renova Fácil clients, the NewCard node will return the masked card number and a new token for the updated card. This allows the merchant to submit a new charge using the Renova Fácil return in a secure way.
