| Receivables Anticipation (ARV) | Option to advance the receipt of installment sales amounts. |
| 3DS Authentication | Authentication model that verifies if the shopper is the cardholder. |
| Capture Channels | Methods through which the transaction is processed, such as POS terminal or e-commerce. |
| Chargeback | Dispute of a purchase made by the cardholder. The master can accept or contest the chargeback. |
| Reconciliation | Process of checking sales and receipts, which can be done via the client portal, API, or EDI statement. |
| Electronic Statement | Product that automates reconciliation by transmitting information in a standardized format. |
| KYC (Know Your Customer) | Detailed analysis procedure during onboarding to mitigate risks. |
| Master | The main business owner who contracts Split de Pagamento and manages sellers. Defines fees, registers sellers, and may participate in sales. |
| E-commerce Portal | Online platform to access Split operations, such as reconciliation queries, transactions, and seller management. |
| Seller | Partner merchant that sells products or services through the master and receives the corresponding share of the sale, paying defined fees. |
| Silent Order Post | Integration that allows secure transmission of payment data, storing it in Cielo’s environment. |
| Split de Pagamento | Cielo platform that automatically splits the amount of a financial transaction among different partners (individuals or legal entities). |
| Recurring Payment | Refers to payments that repeat periodically, such as subscriptions and monthly fees. |
| Variable Fee (%) | Also known as Merchant Discount Rate (MDR), a percentage deducted from each seller’s sale amount. |
| Fixed Fee (R$) | Fixed amount charged per transaction. Unlike the variable fee, it is not included in the split calculation and is debited directly. |
| Tokenization | Enables secure storage of credit cards according to PCI standards, helping improve e-commerce conversion rates. |
| Transaction | Represents a sale. In Split de Pagamento, it may involve only the master or the master and one or more sellers. |
| Receivables Unit (UR) | Sum of all amounts a CPF or CNPJ is entitled to receive on a given day for a payment arrangement. |
| VerifyCard | Tool that checks card validity and returns details such as type and card brand. |
