Receivables Unit (Unidade de Recebíveis)
Receivables Units (URs) have been in effect since 06/07/2021, under Resolution No. 4,734/2019 of the Conselho Monetário Nacional and Circular No. 3,952/2019 of the Banco Central do Brasil. As a result, acquirers and sub-acquirers, such as Split de Pagamento, must register merchants’ URs with a registration entity, which is responsible for making receivables information available among financial institutions.
Each UR consists of:
- Recipient's CPF or CNPJ;
- Payment arrangement; and
- Payment date.
Consider that a merchant had three transactions on May 31:
The amounts corresponding to these transactions will be grouped into Receivables Units, following the payment regime rules. See below how the URs derived from the amounts in the table would be composed*:
*The example in the table does not consider deductions related to fees.
Access the API reference containing instructions for making authentication requests and querying URs.
