Capture transactions

The capture confirms the payment of an authorized transaction and finalizes the charge to the shopper.

You can capture in two ways:

• Individually, to capture a single transaction;
• In batch, to capture multiple transactions at once.

Capture a transaction

Use individual capture to confirm the payment of a single authorized transaction.

1. Find the desired transaction;
2. Open the transaction details;
3. Click Capturar.

Full capture

Full capture confirms the entire authorized amount of the transaction.

1. Select Captura total;
2. Click Continuar;

3. Check the transaction details and the amount to be captured;
4. Click Continuar;

5. Review the displayed information;
6. Click Capturar;

7. Complete the operation authentication in the Cielo Gestão app;

After authentication, the request is processed and the system displays the operation result.

Partial capture

Partial capture allows capturing only part of the authorized transaction amount.

1. Select Captura parcial and click Continuar;

2. Enter the amount you want to capture for the transaction and click Continuar;

3. Review the displayed data;
4. Click Capturar;
5. Complete the operation authentication in the Cielo Gestão app.

After authentication, the request is processed and the system displays the operation result.

Capture results

After processing the request, the system may display one of the following results:

Success

The capture was completed successfully.

Partial success

In this case, the system shows the transactions that were not captured and their respective amounts, so the capture can be performed again if necessary.

Error

The capture could not be completed.

Check the transaction information and try again. If the problem persists, contact Cielo Support.

Capture transactions in batch

Use batch capture to capture multiple transactions at once.

1. Go to E-commerce > Transações;
2. Select Opções em lote > Capturar;

The system enters capture mode and displays only the transactions available for this operation.

3. Select the transactions you want to capture;
4. Click Capturar transações;

5. Choose the capture type:
   • Captura total;
   • Captura parcial;

After choosing the capture type, the process follows the same steps described in Capture a transaction.

Transaction history

Access the transaction history to view the events recorded during payment processing.

1. Find the desired transaction;
2. Open the transaction details;
3. Go to the Histórico da transação tab.

In the history, you can track transaction progress and view information such as:

• Status recorded at each stage;
• Date of event occurrences;
• Return code and message;
• Identifier of the request associated with the operation.
