TLS/SSL certificate

The TLS (Transport Layer Security) certificate, also known as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), encrypts data transmitted in the browser, such as logins and transaction details. Its purpose is to ensure a secure session for the end user (the person shopping on the online store), maintaining message privacy, integrity, and server security.

The certificate will appear in the site information button in your store’s address bar. By clicking the padlock, you can view certificate details, such as the issuing institution and expiration date.

Certificate update

TLS 1.2 is a newer version of the protocol that fixes vulnerabilities found in previous versions. With this update, we can ensure even greater security for data transmitted between your e-commerce platform and our API, while meeting international requirements defined by PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
