Integrated Antifraude
What is an antifraude system?
In Link de pagamento and Checkout Cielo, you have an integrated anti-fraud system, providing more security for your store. This system analyzes payments using tools based on neural networks, non-relational databases, recommendations based on transaction history, behavior, and repetitions over time, among other functions that make up the fraud analysis model. After the analysis, the tool classifies the order as low or high risk.
Main benefits:
- The system is already integrated into Link de pagamento and Checkout Cielo at no additional cost;
- Minimizes fraudulent transactions.
When is the antifraude analysis triggered in the payment process?
The anti-fraud system is triggered after the payment authorization flow with the issuing bank and card network.
Does the antifraude system analyze recurring transactions?
The anti-fraud system only analyzes the first transaction of a recurrence.
For which payment methods is the antifraude system triggered?
- Credit card;
- Click to Pay;
- Google Pay.
How to know if the transaction was analyzed by the antifraude system?
Go to the Cielo website > E-commerce > Meus Links na área do Link de Pagamento > Pedidos > click on + to see the details of the order you want. When opened, check the information in the Resultado antifraude field.

Status | Description |
---|---|
Low Risk | The anti-fraud system detected low risk for this order. Therefore, the order will have the status Pago or Autorizado, depending on the capture configuration chosen by the merchant. |
High Risk | The anti-fraud system detected high risk for this order. Therefore, the order will have the status Cancelado. If this order is eligible for the facial biometric authentication service, it can be recovered and the final status may be different. Check the Facial Authentication menu in Payment Link and Checkout orders for more information. |
N/A | There was no anti-fraud analysis (in the case of payment methods not eligible for the service, or orders successfully authenticated by the 3DS protocol). |
Is it possible to disable the anti-fraud analysis?
To ensure your security, it is not possible to disable this service. It is also not possible to disable automatic cancellation in the case of High Risk.
