How to Start Using Cielo Checkout

To start your integration with the Cielo Checkout API, you will need to:

1. Request the merchant number (EC) for Cielo Checkout;

2. Define the store settings (page customization and choice of payment methods);

3. Configure a notification URL and a status change URL for your store;

4. Install the Extended Validation certificate;

5. Send the first request to create a payment page;

6. When there is a payment attempt in Cielo Checkout, you will receive a notification with all the data filled in on the payment page;

7. If the transaction status changes, you will receive a status change notification*;

8. To perform tests, use the Checkout Test Mode. Do not forget to disable test mode when going live.

*Provided that you have configured the notification URL.
