What are registered boletos?

A registered boleto is one of the payment methods available in E-commerce designed to reduce fraud.

The issuing bank is aware of the boleto from its generation to its settlement, unlike the old unregistered boletos. The merchant can choose to report the shopper who generated but did not pay a registered charge.

This payment method allows the shopper to pay the boleto at any bank branch even after the due date.

Dates established by Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks) for registered boletos to be used.
